This Privacy Policy explains how Gifmailer ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use gifmailer.com (the "Service"). This page is maintained by Gifmailer to answer common privacy questions; it is not an independent certification.

Information we collect

• Account data: email address, name, and authentication identifiers.
• Content you upload: photos, videos, prompts, brand guides, and generated GIFs.
• Gmail data (with your consent): when you connect Gmail via Google OAuth, we use scoped tokens to create drafts on your behalf. We do not read or store the contents of your inbox.
• Billing data: handled by our payment processors (e.g. Paddle). We receive a transaction reference, not your full card number.
• Usage data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use information

• To provide and improve the Service.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To communicate about your account and service updates.
• To enforce our Terms and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your content to train AI models.

Subprocessors

We share data with the following service providers strictly to operate the Service:

• Cloud hosting & database (Lovable Cloud / Supabase, Cloudflare)
• Google (Gmail API, OAuth)
• AI providers: Lovable AI Gateway, Black Forest Labs (Flux), Replicate, Google Gemini
• Payment processing: Paddle

Data retention

We retain account data while your account is active. You can delete your uploads and generated GIFs from your library at any time. On account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, encryption at rest for stored content, row-level security on our database, and scoped OAuth tokens for Gmail.

International transfers

Our infrastructure is global. By using the Service you consent to transfer of your data to countries where our providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards.
